E911 Compliance
Three landmark laws govern how organizations must handle emergency calls. Endpoint Ep3 is designed to support all three — for schools, enterprises, and every facility in between.
Alyssa's Law
Silent panic alarm requirements for public K–12 schools
In memory of Alyssa Alhadeff (2003–2018)
Alyssa was 14 years old when she was killed in the February 14, 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Her mother, Lori Alhadeff, became a New Jersey state assemblywoman and championed the legislation that bears her daughter's name.
Alyssa's Law requires public K–12 schools to install silent panic alarm systems that directly notify law enforcement and first responders — without requiring staff to dial 911 manually. The alarm must transmit the school's location and trigger internal lockdown protocols simultaneously.
Federal Momentum
The federal Alyssa's Law Act has been introduced in Congress to extend requirements to all public K–12 schools nationwide, conditioning federal school safety funding on compliance. As of 2025, 10 states have enacted the law and 16 additional states have pending legislation.
Response time matters
Every second counts. Silent alarms eliminate the delay of manually dialing 911 and waiting for a dispatcher — getting help moving faster.
